Twenty-four hour train trip - 1141 kmsDec 18, 2008

| The train left on time, 18:15 yesterday AND actually arrived on time 24 hours later. A bit of a nondescript journey, met a couple from Czeck and teased some young guys. Turns out that these guys are professionals: Doctors, Dentists and Engineers. The sleep was good, being rocked like a baby. I do feel as if 'the earth is moving under my feet' right now but its OK. I am currently in the state of Orissa, beautiful countryside and, of course loads of rice paddy fields. I hate getting in late and dark but all is well and have a reasonable room. And no, the train didn't go across the sea. |
