South Africa – Zimkwazi 12th September

Place of the fish eagle (kwa meaning ‘place of’) and indeed these beautiful birds were spotted along with Yellow Billed Kite, Song and Weever birds. We walked a little way to the beach to get our first glimpse of the Indian Ocean it was hear that I noticed, in the distance, a pod of humpback whales –spectacular.
