Macau - Dec 7, 2008 - Macau, Macau SAR, China

so i finally made it to macau today for a nice little day trip, and im glad i did. really cool little city, MASSIVE AMOUNTS OF PEOPLE. I think that especially since it is a sunday, the streets were completely filled. To be honest, everyone says its bigger flash and glamour than vegas, completely false. While there are a bunch of crazy looking casinos, including the wynn which is literally the exact building that they have in vegas (very creative steve), its really nothing like vegas in terms of density of crazy buildings or just plain ridiculousness. Still that isnt a bad thing, because the city really does retain a lot of its colonial portugese charm. Also, amazing portugese food, im so stuffed. well takin off back into china mainland tomorrow midday, hopefully ill get back to hk when my friend tang is here next time.
