Hi everyone
Wow it has been a while since I wrote here. I have gone from living on a boat surrounded by fishies and water to a place where there is no water but there are lots of horses, cows and goats. I am staying at a cattle station called Kroombit which is 35km from Biloela(aboriginal for white cockatoo of which there are thousands of in the area)www.kroombit.com.au I got off the oz experiance bus which stops here and just never got back on. I have been here for 3 weeks and plann to stay another 2 beforer heading down the coast to sydney for xmas. I have been offered a proper job here and am just trying to sort out my visa stuff to allow my to stay.
My jobs here have been varying greatly from picking up truckful of rocks and gravel for filling in holes to mustering the cattle on horseback true cowboy style. I am very excited about today and tomorrow. There is a helicopter coming in to muster the cattle as it takes too long on horseback but I will get to go and whatch what is going on and tomorrow once they are all rounded up we will be chopping off their hornes and putting an elastic band round thier balls so they die and drop off(sorry boys).
Everyone here is as mad as ahatter and I fit in well. They are all so nice and have made me feel like one of the family which is why I have stayed for so long.
I will get some pics of the helicopter and put them up as soon as I can.
LOts of love to all

NEW BITS!!!!
Added the pictures at last and hope you like them.
I have finally left Kroombit for the time being. I was there for 5 weeks. I will be going back at the end of january for 6 MONTHS!!! I have left to do some traveling and am currently in the town of Agnes Waters beside 1770. It is absolutely amazing here and I have done a day trip out to an island called Lady Musgrave Island. It is entrely made of coral and about 40,000 birds live there and it is also a nesting site for turtles. It is amazing. I also did a dive out on the reef and saw my first shark!!! It was only a little white tip reef shark but still it was wonderful.
I am leaving here today but I could stay here forever. There is so much to do and so beautiful. Yopu could fill at least 2 weeks of activities here with no problem. I will be back!!!
Leaving this afternoon to head down to Hearvey Bay to do my Fraser Island tour. After that I will be in Rainbow beach for the night, then on to Noosa to go to Australia zoo. Then on to Byron bay for 3 nights before heading to surf camp and then to sydney where I plann to relax. All this traveling stuff is exhausting and I was knackered after Kroombit. The temperatures here are in the high 30's every day with the humidity to match. It is a killer. Not yet in the christmas mood as its too bloody hot.
Lots of love to everyone
