Saturday Novemver 8th
So after leaving Vatican City we are off to Pompeii. The train ride has to be by far the most beautiful landscape I have seen. As we pass Naples it is the classic Italy seen, you have the Mediterrean Sea and then you have the city on the Penenisula (don't judge my spelling). When we get to Pompeii the weather is amazing but we come out of the train station and really don't know where to go so a cab driver takes us up to the ruins and we do the audio guide tour and walk around. It was amazing how preserved the ruins are. They are writings and drawaing on the wall that are still there. I would give the dates but pretty sure I forgot them. So we walk around for like 3 hours in this place. Thanks to plaster casting they even have how certain bodies were frozen on the day when the volcano errupted. The same cab driver gave us a ride back to the train station but on the way he tried to marry us off to his two bambinos. He even took us by the Church where we would marry. Ha ha. But then we were on the train to Naples. It was dark by the time we got there. (Which means it was like 5 in the afternoon). So we walked around town there were so many side vendors and we had dinner and then we were off back to Rome. i had heard that Naples wasn't a very safe place so we didn't want to be there for to long. We got back to Rome around 1. This whole time in Itlay each night we only got about 5 hours of sleep a night.
