USA Tour ,and on, with Steve, Shirley, and Frances 2008 travel blog

We've made it back to Texas!

And Monday we leave for Israel.

We believe The Father would have us finish the proclamation in Israel. This was very unexpected but our Abba has opened so many doors to get this done that we believe it has to be His word directing us. And the warfare has stepped up! Another good sign that you're on the right path. I remember reading a story about one of the Wesley brothers, I'm thinking maybe it was Charles, anyway one day as he was riding along on his horse he was bemoaning the fact that life was going to good, he had not been under attack from the enemy in quite some time and he was distressing over maybe he was in sin, living for the enemy because his life had been too quiet, too peaceful. When out of nowhere a rock came hurtling through the air and knocked him off his horse. When he came too he sat up and began praising God; Oh thank you, Lord, he said, now I know you still love me.

Amid the trials and distresses and difficulties of life we must remember to praise him. Phil 4:4, "Rejoice in all things and again I say rejoice!"

I was talking with a friend last night and she said something that has given me much pause for thought in the past 24 hours. I want to pass it on to you.

Are you ready for the end? she asked. Then she went on to say, YHVH told me that I am not ready because I can't leave my comfort.

Think about that one friends. If we can't leave our comfort, if we can't endure without the thing or things that make us comfortable we are not ready for what is just around the corner. Is your comfort your soft mattress, your cup of coffee, your internet connection, pictures of children and grandchildren, television, radio programs, your house, a favorite pair of shoes? Whatever it is, can you leave home without it or will you look back like Lot's wife did and be destroyed or maybe you'll complain all the way to the promised land and end up dying in the wilderness.

It was a check-up question for me! These last three months have been very trying on the comfort level and I confess the mercury in the complaint thermometer hasn't always stayed at the 0. How's yours?

We must repent and humble ourselves and seek Yah's face and turn from our wicked ways before we're out of time.

Love and Blessings! We'll try and connect while in Israel. We'll be back in the states on the 20th. Continue praying for us please, we can't do it without you!

And a big thank you to all who have helped us financally on this mission, your support keeps the wheels rolling!
