2008-2009 (On The Road Again) travel blog

November 5/08

American Election Day, Mike and I travelled on very hilly, winding and narrow highway 76 to Hwy 540 to Hwy 40 to reach Onapa RV Park, Onapa, Oklahoma. As we drove on highway 76 all the oak trees were losing their leaves, a beautiful, magical fall day. We went through 3 states, Missouri, Arkansas and Oklahoma. How patriotic on this historic day of voting. Obama wins! It is a very emotional day for a lot of Americans. We were going to stay for two nights but there were stray dogs around that we had to be a tag team to take Jazz out for his doggy duties.

Campground Notes:

$7.50/night (PA), E 30(park wiring is questionable)/S/W, pull through, gravel grass, free wi-fi (Hughes Net but down most of the night), easy satellite set-up, same minor train noise, no propane, Amenities unknown.
