| Gulf State Park is a great campground in Gulf Shores, AL. It is on a lake, surrounded by a mixed pine forest just 1/4 of a mile from the white sands and blue waters of the Gulf of Mexico. We had a lakeside campsite, and spent several hours riding the bike trails around the park. Gulf Shores is a newly developed area and we thought it would have been a nice place to spend a couple of weeks. Our schedule calls for us to be in New Orleans so we are off to the Big Easy. |
