We are about 1 mile from the Oklahoma/Texas border. This is a nice little Mom and Pop campground except for the trucks that park in the gas station parking lot next door and run their motors. I think he is running it for the heater but wish he would leave it on instead of turning the engine on and off.
We stayed two nights in this campground. The first night there were 2 other rigs but the second night there were about 10.
On Tuesday we went to Erick, OK, to pick up some fuel. Erick's claim to fame is that it was the birthplace of Roger Miller of "King of the Road" fame. Unfortunately, the museum is only open Wed - Sunday.
On Main Street we did spot an unusual building (see picture). It is run by a couple aging hippies that are so full of baloney that I had a hard time not laughing in their faces. But it was an experience.
