| Breakfast as at about 8:30 AM and then we went to the seawalk for a stroll by the shops - the Mediterrean was calm this morning and the ships were very plentiful. Went to the festival center and had our picture taken on the red carpet where they hold the Cannes film festival, I'm sure we were standing where James Bond stood on many occasions. We went to the train station about noon to see if we could get an earlier train to Paris but could not because the cost would have been about 640 Euro -- no way so we are waiting until our 5 PM train. stored out luggage at the train station and went back to the Mediterrea Sea walk for lunch - where we still are enjoying our 2 hour lunch - very common here -- we love it!!!! Dessert just arrived so we must sign off - will write again from Paris. au revoir the fools |
