Cruise Ship Sailing

The drive to Saint John, New Brunswick today was beautiful thanks to the fall foliage. The variety of colours was amazing. I’m afraid the pictures really don’t do it justice.

We left the highway at Sussex to pick up some bread, etc. at the Mrs. Dunster’s bakery which was right beside the site where AAC Agility Nationals were held. It was neat to see the area again and remember the fun we had there in August.

The Rockwood Park Campground will be home for the next three nights. It is in a large urban park right in the middle of Saint John. After setting up, we drove down to the harbour to have a look around and have a supper. There was a cruise ship in port which left about 8:00 p.m. We stayed to watch it leave (very pretty all lit up).

There is a boardwalk at the harbour with some really nice condos along it. We also saw a coast guard boat moored in the harbour. We had supper in one of the pubs in the Market Square building. It was noisy but the food was good.
