Well I am new to this and after writting a big long page, I lost it all.
So later to summerize all that was lost I'll make it short since is now late and has been another long day of travel.
We made it across Lake Ontario on our first night crossing and it was rough and exciting cruise. Customs was a breeze with vidio phone call in and not even a visit to the boat. The next day we unstepped the mast and was a lot easier than I thought. So with everthing tied down we headed for the first lock of the Oswego canal (8 locks) and then 23 more locks of the Erie canal after that. 7 days later after some engine trouble caused by me not thinking and some batterie trouble still to be solved. We are through all the locks and on the Hudson River at the Catskills Marina aproximatle 18 miles down stream from Albany NY. Tomorrow we will step the mast's and prep the boat once again to be a sailing vesel
I hope to get better at tis a time goes on
By for now
John
