Fall begins Cambridge Ohio

West Virginia Entry

West Virginia Countryside

Entering Pennsylvania

Tunnel Entrance on the PA Turnpike

Left Cambridge Ohio this morning at 8:00 a.m. Went through West Virginia...yes, the whole 16 miles in the northern part of the state, then on to Pennsylvania. The trees are beginning to show their fall colors. One branch on a tree was realizing autumn was here!!! (in the photos attached). We took the PA Turnpike from south of Pittsburgh to West Harrisburg. Instead of going up and over the mountain ranges (Laurel, Appalachian, Tuscarora, Mahantango) we went through four tunnels approximately 1/2 mile each). Helped save gas not having to go over but through each mountain range. After 2,647 miles we have arrived in Hershey PA about 4:00 p.m. today. Cooler and has began raining this evening. They have only had two days of rain over the last several months so they are happy to see the rain. Weather forecast calls for cooler and rainy for the next few days. We are anxious to begin our sightseeing. Thinking of you and until next time, Larry & Theresa - Dad & Mom - Grandpa & Grandma.
