We are still staying in Anacortes, WA. We have moved to another campground called Pioneer Trails. It has what they call super sites with a lot more room than the normal ones. We have our own pavilion with a very nice nature trail on the other side. A perfect place to relax and still close to everything in town. There is so much to see here we will be staying for a while. We plan to take the ferry out to view San Juan Island plus all the other close ones.
Ollie absolutely loves this place. He gets to walk the woody trail about three times daily and knows the path now. :-) The trail is so beautiful with huge trees and tons of birds. I am thinking of taking my binoculars and chair and just site in there and watch and listen to the birds. After putting over 9,000 miles on our home on wheels, this place is the perfect place for us to relax and we are happy we found it.
I am adding a lot of pictures to show you more of this awesome town, plus a nearby town we visited. It is called La Conner and we loved it too. On the way there you see a lot of farms with organic stands etc. We bought some great whole grain bread, fresh vegetables and more. I will let the pictures tell the rest of the story. More later from Washington.
