Actually Chongalicious travel blog

Well, right now i'm in north carolina waiting in the airport wathing old people being carted around in red wheel chairs and obnoxious golf carts that keep a persistant beeping. Also there are these british boys playing catch with a nurf ball as the token chubby friend stands to the side awkwardly giggling when the ball lands his way.

I am that boy.

I started reading this book "Nothing Special - Living Zen" by Charlotte Joko Beck

for anyone who feels like life is nothing but a mess of worries and judgements i HIGHLY recomend this book.

Joko talks about life itself being a river and us, as beings in this life, as whirpools in this river. We take in life and its energies and it rushes around inside us and then leaves and rejoins the river. The whirpool distinguishes itself as its own entity, but in reality it is just the river, manipulated by it's own forces.

I really like what this book has to say.

Initial feelings- Woah.

never traveled internationally by myself before, so far doing fine, nervous about my arrival.

My flight is boarding now so i must go.

i plan on updating almost everyday while i'm here just for myself, but of course advice and comments are always welcome.

peace and chicken grease
