Ed & Marilyn 'The Happy Wanderers' travel blog

When I picked up my cell phone this morning, I saw tear stains on the face of it. I should explain. Last night as Marilyn and I watched a movie on TV, my cell phone rang. It was a call from Kit and Jerry informing us that Jerry's son, Jerry R. had passed away. We have been praying for all of them and it struck me more than I expected. Having lost a child we knew the feelings and emotions that Kit & Jerry were experiencing.

Normally, I write each day about our adventures of the previous day.

Today however, I wish only to thank all of you who have kept Kit & Jerry, and Jerry R. in your prayers.

We hope that Kit & Jerry may feel the power of your prayers.

Now, for the more normal entry....

Yesterday we had a fine day. I gave a tour of Cameron Cave, detouring around the water filled passageway. I also rode the ZTR mower again. I haven't tamed that beast but I can control it much better than I did at the beginning. I mowed a large field for the second time.

Jennifer and Colby visited us yesterday and we enjoyed our time with them.

Well, dear readers, I know that this entry is very short. We had no internet service at the campground this morning. I am at McDonalds and I ran into some long time friends, so I have spent a great deal of time visiting and ignored the writing. Now it is time to go, because I have to give another tour today.

Yesterday was a fine day until we received the news from Jerry. We remain optimistic and just can't wait to see what this day has in store.....
