Made it to Toronto safely via Detroit and Chicago and it was hot hot hot, our hostel room had no air con and we cooked the whole time!
Toronto is a really nice city - like Vancouver it is cleaner and has way fewer bums than US cities which is nice.
We went up the CN tower which is super tall, until recently was the tallest in the world.
Also went to a Blue Jays baseball game at the Rogers Centre, the stadium was cool - it has a retractable roof so we were hoping it would start raining so we could see it close, but it didn't. The Blue Jays won 7-4 in the 13th innings and as far as american sports go we've decided we quite like baseball :)
For all you Hamiltonians we caught up with Matty Mead at a party there. It was good to catch up with him, he is exactly the same as always by the way. He's made a little network of kiwi friends in Toronto so we got to hang out with a bunch of kiwis at this party which was cool.
The rest of the time we just cruised the city, saw the hockey hall of fame, some tall buildings, and went over to Toronto island which was actually really lame.
All in all good times!
