Yesterday was a pretty busy day for us. We awoke to wonderful fall weather, with clear skies and forecast temperatures in the 70's.
After our morning coffee I helped Marilyn for a little bit. This was laundry day for her. I loaded the laundry basket into the truck for her and she drove down to the laundry room here in the campground. She returned in only a few minutes, reporting that the washing machines were busy.
We then decided to walk through the campground to visit with Kit & Jerry as they prepared to leave.
We said goodbye to these wonderful friends, with hugs and promises to see each other again.
I was in the Cameron Cave, training a new guide by the time Kit & Jerry actually pulled out of the campground, heading west.
Marilyn returned with the laundry completed, shortly after I returned home from the cave. It was after lunch time so we decided to go into town to run some errands and just have a late lunch / early dinner at the Chinese Buffet.
We stopped at Blockbuster to return a DVD for the kids, then ate lunch, before driving to Wal-Mart to fill the truck with diesel fuel at $3.88 per gallon. We also shopped for groceries before returning to the RV.
When we arrived back at our little home on wheels, there was a note attached to our door asking if I could give a tour of Cameron Cave on Thursday morning at 10:00 AM. Sure can!
Marilyn popped popcorn for our dinner, since neither of us was very hungry.
We watched "America's got Talent" for a couple of hours before I went to bed to read.
I had turned off the light and was nearly asleep by the time Marilyn came to bed.
It was a busy day, but we enjoyed our time and are getting caught up with things after our move. I remain aware of the many e-mails and messages I have yet to answer. I also need to get a few parts ordered for the RV, and have a few other phone calls to make.
We have seen no relatives other than Jennifer and Colby since we got back to Hannibal.
So, we have more busy times ahead of us.
We are baby sitting with Colby again today, so we are anticipating a day of joy. You know me, I just can't wait to see what this day has in store.....
