ON THE ROAD AGAIN travel blog

We started our driving day out at 9 AM and traveled 273 miles to end up in Delaware, Ohio. Where in the world is Delaware, Ohio??? We can't even find it on the map. We just kept driving until we figured it was time to stop for the day. Now we have a jump start on tomorrows trip and the day after that is a breeze with only 138 miles.

It sure was some day on the road. Right outside Indianapolis there was a 5th Wheel on fire right on the shoulder of the road. Police and Ambulance was on the scene waiting for the fire truck. The owner had his truck un-hitched already and was trying to get the propane bottles out when we went past. I saw a policeman walk up to him and was maybe telling him to get away from it and wait for the firemen.

Never before today have I driven the RV or any RV through 3 cites in the same day. Right through the center of Indianapolis and Columbus and across the top part of Dayton. It wasn't too bad but I hit one enormous pothole in Columbus and ended up stopping down the road to check out the shocks and springs on the trailer. Everythink was OK so off we drove again. The last few days we have been finding RV parks as we drive down the Interstate. Today we found Cross Creek Camping Resort and it's one very nice place.

Today the total mileage of our trip so far is 1515 miles.

Tomorrow we stay at a Thousand Trails Campground in Jefferson, Ohio.

See ya all later.

Happy Camping,

Bob, Judy and our 2blackdogs
