Juliets tomb

This morning we walked through the streets of Verona to the Arena. This building dates from the 1st century and is the third largest in existence. It also looks like it hasn't been cleaned since the 1st century. We then walked to Casa di Giulietta (Juliets house). The outside is covered in lovers graffiti. Soon after lunch we saw Romeos house from the outside. It is impossible to see the inside as it is privately owned. Finally we ventured on to Juliets tomb.

The streets of Verona are vastly different from those of Switzerland and you need to have your wits about you if you don't want to get run over! The biggest hit in Verona so far has been the food! Monica is also very happy with the coffee and wine.....
