Our second campsite was near N.B.'s capital, Fredericton, at Mactaquac Provincial Park. We visited the "Fish Culture Center." (a fish hatchery that specializes in preserving certain species of wild salmon) Very interesting and they are doing labor intensive work to try to bring back some very endangered species. We spent time in Fredericton with the "laundromat Nazi" (i.e. Seinfeld's soup Nazi), having lunch downtown, and riding our bikes along the river trail. We will be returning to N.B. after our visit to Nova Scotia.
