Mt. Hood, ready to blow!
Norm & Cathy's totally remodeled home, (family room)

| Arrived in Vancouver @ 2PM. Weather clear, wind SSW @ 7 knots, temp 80F. No problems on the short trip from Boardman. We stayed at Vancouver, RV Park. Clean and close to Norm and Cathy. Norm and Cathy picked us up shortly after we arrived and the party started. We had fun lunches, dinners and even a birthday party for their friend Julie and our baby, Abbie. They are great hosts. Cathy cooked non stop. We picked Steph up on Saturday at the Portland Airport, which you can see from their patio. As you can see, their house is fantastic! We saw it before the remodel on our trip up to BC two years ago. What a difference, makes me want to burn ours down!!! We dropped Steph off on Monday for her flight home. Sorry to see her leave. Pat could not come with her, he was taking care of Tina, their 16 year old Italian Greyhound. What a great guy to miss such a fun time. We sure hated to leave on Tuesday. Tried to extend our stay, but our spot at the RV park was taken for the next day. We sure hope to see Norm and Cathy again very soon, they are good friends and GREAT hosts!!! |
