Zagreb

Today we caught the bus to Zagreb. The journey took about 2 hours. We arrived and then a few of us took a walk into town and checked out the local internet cafe! Then walked back. We are staying at Hotel Laguna which is about 15 minute walk from centre or you can catch the tram. When we got back to the hotel a local guide took us on a 3 hour tour of the city. Was much more attractive than I had imagined. Have several fantastic buildings and a cathedral. After our tour some of us ate at a restaurant opposite the cathedral called Kathedrale and had a great meal. I had pork with plums in brandy sauce! Nice! After we met up with the others and Sonia took us to a gelato place she knows for ice cream - I had bana and cappachino for 6 kuna - 60p! Awesome! Then we strolled home. Tomorrow we have free so we are going to check out markets and museums.
