We left the Detroit area on 08/12 and headed for Kalamazoo, Michigan. We weren't planning on doing anything once we got there (other than laundry & grocery shopping ) we were just stopping because it was about 200 miles from Detroit and there is one of our membership campgrounds here. ( and besides, Kalamazoo is a kind of cool name - come to find out it means 'bubbling or boiling water' )

From Kalamazoo we headed into Indiana and to the Indiana Dunes State Park. We had two great nights here and for the first time in a long time I wasn't ready to leave when 'moving' day rolled around but we had friends waiting for us in Illinois and it was time to hit the road.
