| We've been out of reach of a solid internet connection for some time. I had written a wonderful epistle and was about to publish when I was dropped. Ack! We spent 2 weeks in Newport and then headed to Ponderosa Hills outside of Spokane for a little over a week. We attended our Rogers reunion and the dedication of the Wall of Remembrance and then celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary by going out to dinner at the Rusty Moose. We then headed to Maple Grove resort in Randle WA which is just a little west of White Pass. The first 5 days we spent in the Maple Grove, a wonderful stand of moss covered old growth split leaf maples. Beautiful!! Angela came up to spend the weekend with us and brought an anniversary gift from her and the Bisordi's. It is a Wii system and we are really enjoying it! We had planned to head for central Oregon, but with temps predicted to be in the 100's we thought it prudent to change our plans and head out to the ocean. It's lovely here in Ocean City and Pretzel LOVES the beach! temps in the low 70's!!!! |
