Mali Ston

With no wind we left Mljet early and motored the four hours to Ston. Ston has the largest fortified wall (about 5 kilometres) in Europe and was built to protect the only salt pans in Europe. The salt is still panned today.

A short distance over the hill is Mali Ston, known for its oysters.
