| Can’t believe it is now the start of my 8th month of travelling – the time is really flying by! Only 8 days left in Australia which is crazy… Am not impressed with the weather today as it’s really windy and rainy so not sure I am going to be able to get out and explore. Have got the wood fire going though so that is ok! Going to use today to sort through photos I think! Can’t spend too long online as Dave is on dial up here – no mobile reception or broadband in the country!! Been labelling all my photos – its great looking at them! Some of the events seem so long ago now… It’s snowing outside now – snow in August – what fun!! Don’t think that walk will be happening today…wouldn’t mind so much if snow was settling but its so wet out that it isn’t at the moment! Ok so I didn’t make it out for a walk as it didn’t stop raining all afternoon. I did however sit and go through all my photos that I have taken so far and labelled them so that was a job well done! Dave got home about 6.30pm and was impressed with my fire skills as the house was lovely a warm! We decided to eat out tonight and headed into Daylesford about 8pm. We went for dinner at a cute little Italian restaurant and then went to a bar/restaurant that has live jazz on a Friday night. When we went in there was only one other couple there, a few others did come and go but it was definitely a quiet night. The log fire and music were great though so we still had fun! |
