The train ride to Valencia took about 3 1/2 hrs. Once I got to the train station I was welcomed by a colosseum on the right where bull fights were being held. Also great architecture! Walked over to my hostel(Home Backpackers), offloaded my backpack and hopped on the metro to spend a day at the beach. Walked along the beach for a bit, then sat down for a refreshing litre of Agua De Valencia, which was a mix of vodka, contreau, champagne and orange juice. Very refreshing in the hot, hot heat! after the beach I took the metro back into town and spent a few hours walking around. called it an early night in preparation to wake up early and catch my flight to the next destination.
