| Well not much to say today. Had the day at sea and just sat around talking to people we have met. We did wake up sitting just of the island of Sicily with a staff member talking on his cellfone on the top deck and waving to his either girlfriend or wife. We know this because we whipped upstairs to see where we were and saw him. Funny!!!!! Went throught the gap between Sicily and Italy which is big enough to get through and the captain went full speed we think because of the amount of water rushing through the gap. A couple of hours later we passed an island that was a volcano and it was erupting as we went past. Fire, lava, steam and smoke, the whole works. That was pretty cool. Had lunch with 2 nice girls from the states that have just finished a 2 year stint teaching in Parkistan and they were interesting. 5pm rolls around and that is our time to change for dinner and head to the bar and Anna has a "kiss on the lips" cocktail which she loves and the barmen enjoy serving her. Dinner and show or bed. The shows on the ship are very impressive an different each night and talented girls and guys. We are at the 6pm dinner which we asked for because the 8.15 sitting too late for Anna. Our canadian friends eat then too so relly enjoyable and good red wine,which we buy in each port because on the boat it is about $60 a bottle. Off to bed so see you Pete, Di and Anna |
