| Hello all Up this morning and off at 9am. We started on a private yatch cruise around the port , looking at expensive real estate and Palaces of old. It was a 40 foot launch and very comfortable sipping apple tea ( anna included). Hopped on minibus with only 1 other couple so we nearly have a guide to ourselves. Drove to another yummy restaurant and had very tasty turkish food. We to Sultans Palace, blue mosque and the Grand Bazaar. Learnt alot along the way and enjoyed our guide. We lost Anna's Carter ( soft polar bear) 2 days ago. He got bundled up in the sheets and went to the laundry. We notified housekeeping and they kept an eye out for him. ( think he was after a swim) anyway luckily he turned up again. Anna was relieved and he was in good condition and very clean!!!!!! We really enjoyer Istanbul and would like to spend some more time here. Photos coming soon Love Di, Pete and Anna and thank god Carter. xxxx |
