| Well we made the approximately 70 mile trek from Tok to Chicken in about 3 ½ hours. We were observing many beautiful vistas along the way. The paved road ends several miles prior to arriving in the metropolis of Chicken, which consists of a Café, Saloon and Mercantile store period. Oh yes, there is a fuel pump and a Chicken Poop outhouse also. The Café RV Park is nice and for you who have a camper will appreciate this. Howard backed into our site and the bubble is exactly in the circle, zero adjustments! We are in the high price section and have electricity until 9 o’clock tonight. I like it here, because it is a nice day and have plenty of time to lounge around. The old folks sat out in the sun for quite a while tonight. They got a little red. We are going to drive the Top of the World highway tomorrow and stay in Dawson City YT tomorrow for a few days. |
