On our way home we stopped in New Oxford, charming town.

The town squre, just like at Disneyland.

People take care of their buildings and decorate.

For you flower lovers out there, a Hibiscus, size large.


It rained and rained and rained, not many pictures taken. But a sobering and thought provoking day it was. Some of the things we didn't know before coming here, the battle covered 35 square miles including the town of Gettysburg, 56,000 casualties (killed & injured) in the three day battle.

On the way home we stopped in a cute little town, New Oxford. Very picturesque. The town had a charming town square,complete with a fountain and flag pole.
