lunch time on mussels for an otter
an old fisherman in a fishing village
| WE stopped in Monterey back about the 6th of july and it was one of the best ploaces for a fish dinner. You could feel the vibs from cannery row in the Stienbeck book by that name a fishing and canning spot from way back the sea life was abundant from the pics you can see the sea otter having lunch near the wharf and the harbor seals hanging out on rocks in the area. We spent the day at the aquarium and it was one of the best that we have seen. There was plenty for the kids to do and see and touch. the jelly fish exhibit was done in picture frames so that it looked like an art exhibit, that was something else. from here we went to the beach so you will see those pictures on the next entry. |
