Well, things have been going great, but obviously there is a shortage of internet availability! Brian arrived in Paris safely and caught up on his jet lag sleep needs pretty quickly. It was very hard for the kids to say goodbye to their new friends from the tour and they are in culture shock now with no one for entertainment except their boring old parents. We took the TGV train down to Avignon in Provence and have been here for four nights now with one to go. Provence is very pretty and slow paced (too slow for Brian, we have discovered) We attended a bull "fight" in the ancient arena in Arles and visited some wineries and old castles...even the old palace of the Popes before they moved to the Vatican. Today we are in Cassis, a small village on the Mediterranean Sea, and are waiting to go on a boat ride to see the "Calanques" which are like fjords I think. We leave France tomorrow for Switzerland after attempting to find a spot to watch the Tour de France which should come within 15 minutes of our apartment. All is well and we are healthy and rested. I hope all is well back home...We miss you all!
