Another gorgeous view

Wow! Talk about white-knuckle driving -- Steve got lots of it while driving across the Sierra Nevada’s and driving in Yosemite. What phenomenal scenery! We had reservations at the Indian Flats RV Park right outside of Yosemite on Hwy 140. Because of a rock slide on this road, we had to drive into Yosemite on the west side via Hwy 120 and then out on the south side via Hwy 140. Narrow, steep roads and tunnels that were marked with a curb height of 10’4” (the trailer is over 13’) caused a lot of anxiety. Yosemite has now got to be my favorite national park. We spent one whole day in the valley area, riding the shuttle and doing several 1-2 mile day hikes to waterfalls and lakes. The second day we drove up to Glacier Point and did a relatively easy 4 mile hike. Words cannot describe how beautiful Yosemite is. The Merced River which flows through the park and right next to the RV park is beautiful. We had a prime camping location at the Indian Flats RV park right up front by a nice grassy area and close to the river.
