| Mumbai was really nice - Much different from the rest of India. It was a busy city and we crammed as much as we could into the short time we had there. We managed to see a massive market, cathedral and of course eat at McDonalds. Thank goodness it was a nice day. The day we arrived there it was rainng and the day we left was raining as well. We also got some more shopping in, everywhere you turn they are selling little trinkets. We also saw the Gate to India which was really nice to see even though it appeared to be under construction and covered in scaffolding. We walked around for a whicle, we saw the new and old Taj Hotels which were also very nice. Mumbai had a European feel to it, something we did not notice on our other stops. We had a really nice dinner, probably the nicest dinner all trip and it cost us $8 Canadian!! Next.. our final stop in India! |
