Taking a hike

Snow on Wheeler Peak

We've spent the past two days at Bryce Canyon NP. Highway 21 in Utah going to the Great Basin NP was a very lonely, scenic drive. I think we only passed a couple of cars. We will be driving across Highway 50 in Nevada which claims that it is the loneliest highway. We’ll just have to see. Camped in the park campground for $6 per night with no hookups. This had to be one of the most beautiful campgrounds yet. It was a small pull –through site right by the stream. Once again, the deer were everywhere. We took the tour of Lehman Caves but really did not do any hiking. We also drove up to Wheeler Peak which still had lots of snow on the ground. When we left on Sunday morning, you could see the smoke from the California wildfires. I’m so far behind in laundry, we are staying at an RV park in Eureka, NV, only about 100 miles away on Sunday.
