July 11...Fort Bridger RV Camp---Fort Bridger, WY

We left Rawlins this morning to head for more Mountain Men and more of the Oregon, California & Mormon trails. It seems we have a theme going. I didn't really plan it that way. I knew Chimney Rock and Fort Bridger would put us on parts of the trail....but it seems everywhere we go....there's the Mountain Men and the Pioneers. Since Joe and I like these stories....I guess our constant finding ourselves in these places is a 'good thing'.

We arrived at Fort Bridger RV Camp midafternoon. The weather is pretty warm, but there's no humidity...or none that I can feel. The breeze is about 15 to 20 miles an hour, nice. And guess what... there's trees & grass :-) Each site is a grassy 50 ft wide. The cost per night is $24.00 (with Good Sam discount). We also have cable and WiFi. I think I'm spoiled :-)

We went to the only grocery store in the area...about 6 miles from here. It is in cute town, Mountainview, WY. There were flags flying from the telephone poles for about a mile down the road there. And...wow....do they have a mountain view. It's a little hazy today but you can see the snow covered 10,000 ft+ and 13,000 ft+ mountains in the distance in Utah.

This evening we'll stay here...we're enjoying the breeze (a little less now then during the day), the quiet and a good book.
