Leaving Fountain Co for the Grand CanyonJul 11, 2008

| Ok we are now on the road again after spending 3 days in Fountain, Denver and Colorado Springs we are continuing our adventure. Kristie & Kendall were our tour guides and so you all know we went everywhere she thgought we would enjoy ,it was a wild 3 days. We truly enjoyed the Abby Winery in Canyon City, it is the most beautiful buildingand it is a monestary for monks. But behind it is the winery WOW can they make great wine.The trip to and from there was a little on the scary side for me as I am terified of these winding roads that have cliffs for their sides and Kristie doesn't drive slow, but I took lots of pictures and will post them when we stop for the evening.We spent some time with Robert in his new home in Denver he seems to like it and we are so hoping this will be the turning point in maturing. Keep your finger crossed for him. All the roommates in their house seem very nice and young also a lot like a campus housing. The weather out here was wonderful cool in the evenings and early morning and warm in the day. I almost forgot she took us to Manatou SpringsCo. and the springs are supposed to make you young again, so we drank lots of it, sodon't be supprised when we get home that we are "Spring Chickens" again. |
