7th To Guilin

Our last day in Guangzhou we'd come to like the place, feeling settle but it was time to check out, we had the train to Guilin to catch, but that was early evening. So we went to town and stumbled on a huge square and a big high street we must have only just missed the days before. We left for the train station with with plenty of time which would need because to our horror we went to the wrong train station - the one we had come in from hong kong. We immediately got the taxi,which was the best 30 Yuan we've spent because we got to the proper train station with enough time to spare. The hard sleeper compartments are pretty decent, a good way to spend long train journeys. It seemed weird to think the 12 or so hours to get to Guilin, I could have flown home in less time.
