| Jun 29, 2008 – Sunday – Detroit Lakes, MN Today was a day of doing nothing for the most part. Day did one load of laundry so we should be good for the rest of the way home. I had seen that diesel was at $4.53 on the way back from the lake place yesterday evening and was sort of kicking myself for not stopping. So this morning I went back and got as much as it would give me until it shut off at $99. While I was fueling up I got a call from Ann that she was going to come and see us around 1100 and stay for lunch. Ann arrived and we had a really nice visit and lunch. She left about 1415 so that left us with the rest of the day to fend for ourselves. We had supper 5ish then we got in the truck and went to the post office to mail some cards then back home. A little TV then to bed by 2200 with the alarm set for 0630. |
