| Change of Plans Oh how nice it was to get a night's sleep wothout being bothered by mosquitoes. I might have been so tired that I would have slept through anything. We didn't get on the road until 8:30 a.m., I was talking with my neighbor whose wife is from Augusta, Kansas. A small world we live in. We were going to go back the same way we came, but the people I talked with at Liard Hot Springs told me I had to go through Prince George, Jasper and Lake Louise. I asked how the roads were and was told they were good no steep grades. We had already had a 9% grade assent and fought the wind all day.We stopped at Mc Donald's at Fort St. John and looked at the Milepost and it said there was one 10% grade. One more than I wanted, but Thought I could endure one. I talked with a construction worker near where our rv was parked and he told me the same thing. Liar Liar pants on fire, no sooner than we got on the road going South to Prince George than we hit three 10% grades both up and down. More than I wanted. In addition, the wind was horendous after we headed South. One of the 10% assents was about three miles long; I didn't think the rv was going to get up it. Well, we finally made it to Chetwynd, actually ten miles past Chetwynd and I had had it so we found an rv park and stopped for the night. We do have free showers, but no wifi. Gabby's blog Today we dorve to Chetwyn. The drive here was very hard we went up steep hills and down steep hills. When we got to fort st. john we stopped at mconalds to eat. After that while my grandfather was looking where to go next we went inside to the playground and played. we played monster. How fun is that. As we were driving to chetwyn we went down three 10% inclines and going up. The people in fort st. john said it was going to be an easy drive. Wrong. When we got to the rv park there was only one rv there. I said they look really buisy. I hope they have room for us. Kelsi and lexi laughed. After we ate dinner kelsi and i washed the dishes. The best thing about this rv park is that there is free showers!!!! Tommarow were just going to go until my grandfather gets tired. Kelsi's blog Today we got up and started to drive. We went over very steep hills. We saw no wildlife today. It was a long and boring drive for all of us. My grandpa was very exhausted when he got done driving. When we got to the RV park we ate dinner than we played games. Then we took a shower and came home and did nothing. I hope we get wildlife tomorrow. Lexi's Blog when i woke up i had nothing to eat. Then we sarted driveing then we stoped at mcdonalds to eat lunch i had cheese burger plane and water. Then we started driving to our Rv park. Then we got to our rv park. Then we dinner i drank peach guse. then we took showers. |
