|Zaton to Obelec
Woke up early got sorted around 7am neighbours up sweeping font of house
Stopped by the sea in a little village for walk coffee and croissant a little way up.
Drove towards the Peljesac peninsular.
Called in at Ston an old walled town on the Peljesac peninsular. The walls go all the way across the peninsular to keep the invaders out.
Stopped at winery met old guy who seems to be the wine grandfather of the area (now lives between California and Coatia). Red wine was quite good. More body then others we have tried but quite expensive so didn’t buy any.
Drove in to Oblec found camp ground. Supposedly 4 star????????
No internet or washing machines looking a bit run down.
Later found they had only opened for the season yesterday.
Found some chairs and scrounged the managers kids plastic table so we enjoyed pre dinner drinks – Belgium Cherry Beer al fresco as we did dinner.
Saw another couple backing in their van and it was good to see it is universal man backs in woman gives directions which do not suit the man there is much heated verbal exchange. Amusing when it is in a different language which you cant understand but the tone leaves no doubt.
