| Well, things could not be better. Larry and I have used every gadget we have; the GPS, XM, laptop and the wonderful gifts we got from our friends. Have not used the fly swatter yet, but sure when we hit the Southeast, that will be the most important tool we have. It reached 100 degrees yesterday and its probably going to be as hot today. We are in the guest house of George and Winnie Reimann after visiting George and Tiffany. They live in a very nice house in Gilbert Az and have two wonderful children. We had a great dinner with them and breakfast before we left for George and Winnie's house in Scottsdale. We forgot the battery charger for the digital camera and thanks to the Map Source program on the laptop, we found it without a problem. We talked to George and unlike most places, we are getting a guest house, not just a room. It is always a pleasure to visit my good friends as I know how much they have done to their house and it keeps getting better. The front is now filled with rocks and it looks great. Found out that today, the 19th of May is an important day. Not only is it Madeline Van Note's Birthday and my 31st Anniversary, its also George's birthday. What a great surprise. We are going to have a small party tonight but knowing George, nothing is small. Had Breakfast with George at Denny's in Fountain Hills. Then off to Sedona. what a wonderful vacation. Stopped in Payson Az to see George and Winnie's house. Very nice and only an hour from the homestead in Scottsdale. Accommodations have been great. The beds we are sleeping in and comfortable and everything is working out fine. |
