Sea Lion

Wave Pool and Water Park

Shopping Street

The featured animal of the day is the Sea Lion. We took this shot at the mall show!!!

Today we went to the LARGEST MALL IN THE WORLD!!!!!! The West Edmonton Mall is an unbelievable site. It is one of those "you gotta see it to believe it."

Besides 800 stores, over 100 eating establishments, a skatiing rink, an indoor water park and wave pool, a sea lion show, mini golf, a casino and I-max theater, it also has a hotel.

We walked for 4 hours and covered only about half of the building. We have guessed that any other mall we have been in, like in RI, NH or FL, would fit in one corner of this one. They say it takes a full four days to see everything and visit every store.

This is probably the first time in our lives that we spent this long in a mall and only spent $13.80 and that was for two pins (the mall and Edmonton) for Frank's collection!!!!!

This has been a great area to be in and see but we always look forward to our next adventure which is the Vancouver area. We have plans for a whale watch trip, the tower, the aquarium and the beautiful gardens.

Tomorrow we leave the Banff area and head to Vancouver. We will drive only 200 miles to Kamloops and stay overnight. We have to cross the Canadian Rockies in the first 100 miles which is through the Canadian Glacier National Park-should be interesting but it is the only way to go!!!!! We think we will go from about 4,500 feet here to a little over 9,000 feet at the highest point.

Enjoy-We are!!!!!
