| Visited the Mayan ruins of Tikal in the jungle. Miguel was a superb guide picking out the howler and spider monkeys amongst the other wildlife. Climbed the ladder to the top of one ruins, mild panic attack at the top whilst considering how on earth I was going to get down – palms still sweating typing this? Other ruins were not allowed to be climbed due to tourist deaths through falling on earlier visits Travelled in the afternoon o Belizean border to reach the former British Colony of San Ignacio. Shared room with Stewart and Ash, had a swim in the pool with a couple of beers |
