'Ksan Indian Village

Twin Falls in Smithers

Linda enjoying Twin Falls

We left Mezadin Lake VERY early this morning due to an infestation of mosquitoes. Not sure where they came in, but there were so many we were all up by 5:00 AM. Too early to turn on generator in the park, so we left and stopped on the road to make coffee, eat oatmeal and continue killing mosquitoes. The killing went on all day.

We stopped in Gitanyow to see the totem poles and then onto Hazelton to visit the 'Ksan Indian Village. This is a replica of a traditional village.

We stopped next in Smithers to visit the Twin Falls and Glacier Gulch. Very pretty. Donna wasn't too happy with the narrow dirt road we had to drive to get there, but all went well. We then went into town to do some minor RV repair and to get some fresh produce. Very nice town and friendly people.

The rest of the day was spent driving to Vanderhoof. The terrain was rolling with lots of meadows but with the snow capped mountains in the background. Very pretty.

We are now at Dave's RV Park in Vanderhoof. Very Nice park. We finally got a cell phone signal, so we touched base with our families. It was time - Love to all, Terry, Linda, Bill and Donna.
