| Hello, I was waiting to find a computer that has a usb connection before making a journal entry but I couldnt find any. Tonight is my last night in Switzerland before going to Amsterdam. I stayed in Geneva for two nights. I went to the hotel where they had the famous geneva convention. Luckily, my hostel was across the street from the hotel. Also, I saw the biggest water fountain in Europe. I dont have the specifications on how big it is but trust me, it is pretty big. I have photos. I climbed the tower of a cathedral where Calvin used to preach at in the 16th century. The view was great. Ive been in Laussane for 4 nights. I am staying with Natale whom I met in Paris. Remember? She came to Paris to see the neighborhood she was born in. She is different. She doesnt have a tv in her apt. She reads books, knits, paints, takes flying lessons, bikes around city and goes out with her friends instead of watching tv. Actually, she doesnt have any electronics in her place. I will post her picture too. In Laussanne, I went to the famous Lake Lauman. Huge. Then, we took a boat to Evian. I drank from the source - it was free. We also went to the olmpique museum. Ive got some pictures u wont believe. Of course, I ate plenty of chocolates. Actually, Natale took me to a a world reknowned chocolate store. It is a small little place and they've been operating since 1850. People come from all over the world to eat their chocolate. They cook all the chocolates in the back. I took pictures of the place too. One thing about switzerland, things are verrrrry expensive. We also went to a nice restaurant and I ate fondue. They put a cooker with water on your table and give you a utensil that has prongs. Then, you get raw chopped up meat. You pierce the meat with your utensil and cook it inside the cooker. Then, you eat it by dipping it into a sauce. This morning I went to a store and bought one and sent it to new york. I am officially a fondue chef. We'll have fondue when you come over. Wait, I dont have a place to stay in new york. I guess when I come over to your place, then. Oh, I wanted to go skiing but I dont know how much fun it would be to do it by myself. So, I will leave that out for now. I have to go.. write me a message.. |
