My fellow researcher had a horrible reaction and infection to his gazillions of mosquito bites... one in particular got very infected... he doesn't speak any Spanish at all so I took him to la clinica to get some antibiotics. I got him checked in and he went to see the doctor. I waited outside b/c the doctor spoke some English. A while later Gilbert came out rubbing his bum and said that the doctor gave him antibiotics and sent him into a room with a nurse... the nurse didn't speak any English and in Gilbert's words "she dropped me pants and bent me over" He had to get a shot in his bum... he said she wasn't very gentle to say the least. hehe all in all a good trip into puerto!
