Sunset over Nadi

Last day and we were delighted to find that we had been treated to a lie in. I took full advantage of this, got up early and promptly fell asleep on the beach in the morning sun (working on that all important tan!) Only really heading back to Nadi today we didn’t do as much and only had the one stop at some mud pools in Sabeto Valley. The pool felt disgusting. It was just warm water to the waist and then the rest of you just sunk into the muddy mess at the bottom. I spent most of my time trying to convince a squeamish French girl that I had just felt something brush past my leg with a surprising amount of success. We washed the mud off in a hot spring (which was just like Rotorua, except without the smell of sulphur). Which was very relaxing.

Now I’m back in Nadi (found a cheaper internet place) currently willing the sun to show itself again. Tomorrow I’m off to the smaller island of Vanua Levu to take part in the tribewanted project for a week. Can’t wait!
